There is one special day of the year when Dr. Dorf takes his team to Denver for some fun. Dr. Dorf and Dr. Joseph teams combined this year for some team building exercises including go kart racing, indoor sky diving, and bowling.

Dr. Dorf was in the OR to help when a young skier sustained a severe injury on the ski slope. The extensive repair on the skier's wrist included: 11 tendons, 2 arteries, and 3 nerves.

Clavicle fractures are a common injury seen in our clinic. They are sustained by a fall directly onto the shoulder and can be a very painful injury.
One of our patients was able to get a video of his method of injury.

He sustained a comminuted fracture of the midshaft of the clavicle that is 100% displaced.

The Vail Town Races start today for recreational and professional skiers, snowboarders, and telemarkers. Every year Dr. Dorf competes in the race series proudly representing Vail-Summit Orthopaedics.

Dr. Dorf and VSO welcomes the Dew Tour athletes to Breckenridge, CO. VSO has the pleasure this year of providing orthopaedic coverage. The athletes are keeping us busy during the 5 day event.
